Procedure text


procedure text is a text that is designed to describa how something is achivieved through a sequence of actions or steps. It explaints how people perform diffrent processes in a squence of steps. this text uses simple present tenses, often, imperative sentenses. It also uses the temporal conjuctions such as first, second, then , next finally, etc.
The generic structure of procedure text

Goal/aim (or title)
Material (not required)
Steps (the actions that must be taken)






Example :

Make a fried noodles
Materials :
A sachet fried noddles
400 cc (2 glass) hot water
A pot or Pan
Ae egg and some sausage
Steps
Boil 400 cc (2 glass) of water in a pan, add noodle, stir slowly for 3 minutes
Pour the seasoning on a plate, while noodles is being cooked
Take the cooked noodles from the boiling water and drain it
Mix noodles thoroughly with the all seasoning, mix well
Add an egg and some sausage in on noodles, and your delicious noddels is ready to be served

Present tense

Present tense is simple form which used to express situation going into effect in this time. Like habit, everyday fact or natural phenomenon.

The simple present tense is used to express habits, general truths, repeated actions or unchanging situations, emotions and wishes : I smoke (habit); i work in london (unchanging situations); london is a large city (general truth)
